my talks with God lately have been like a shotgun blast
executed for a short round and the pigeons shit
and my clay a mess
the best thing of being broken is being able to be fixed
the crippled wings
and missing ribs
is my celibacy
where rank has no name
and structure is only under the roofs of our home
inviting a likely daughter will be the biggest proof
for me to believe again
i am not lacking
i am not wanting
i am waiting
and i am satisfied

you have weight to your words brother. don't know how you do it but man. so good. the best thing of being broken is being able to be fixed. love it. sometimes i think when Tiger Woods stood on national TV humiliated and giving a press conference after rehab where he listed all his crap to the world, that was probably one of the most freeing moments in his life. All his weaknesses and failures displayed. Honestly. No false convictions or images. Raw authenticity.
